Guide, Carl Courser of Blanchard, Mi (left) and Leo Fink of Lincholn Park brought in this 7x7 600lb Bull at 10:58am on the second day of the contest. The only entry that day and he ultimately won the largest rack prize! His true prize lay between them in the pic. |

Father 'n son, Gordon & Rick Ferguson have volunteered their time and equipment for the elk pole contest for many many moons (15years?) Their assistance are key assets in the contest. The bonus is the good time shared by all. Plenty of huntin' stories and memories of these majestic elk that make Atlanta, the Elk Capital of Michigan! |
